VIDEO: Ohio State players locked out of hotel rooms

The first edition of the Jim Harbaugh-Urban Meyer rivalry kicks off Saturday afternoon, as No. 8 Ohio State takes on No. 12 Michigan in Ann Arbor.

On Friday night, though, a local hotel tried to get a head start in one of the fiercest head-to-head matchups in sports.

In a short video posted to YouTube, Buckeye players can be seen locked out of their rooms. Presumably, the hotel gave them faulty cards.

“See?” said the player taking the video. “Everybody’s key don’t work.”

He zooms in and players are lingering outside their rooms down the entire length of the hallway.

“Welcome to Michigan,” the player says.

Ohio State is coming of its first loss of the season last week at home against Michigan State. The Wolverines have lost twice this season, once to Utah and once to the Spartans.

Both teams trail Michigan State in the Big Ten East division standings.
