It’s snow joke!

Gov. Cuomo urged people to prepare for lake effect snowstorms in western and northern New York from Sunday night into Monday.

“With the first major snowfall forecast for parts of the state, I am urging New Yorkers to be prepared and stay safe,” Cuomo said.

“New Yorkers should take appropriate precautions now, especially if they are traveling.

“Roads may become hazardous, and I strongly encourage everyone to drive responsibly.”

The forecast called for New York City to avoid precipitation. A high of 44 degrees was expected Monday in the Big Apple.

Officials cautioned wind gusts up to 45 mph would make driving dangerous and possibly bring down power lines and tree limbs.

Parts of western New York were expected to see as much as 24 inches. The snow advisory extended into the eastern Mohawk Valley and upper Hudson Valley.

While some grudgingly accepted the prospect of snow, ski areas were thrilled — among them, Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks, which was set to start making snow ahead of its opening this Friday.

Rick Lazio, whose senatorial hopes were dashed when he waltzed up to opponent Hillary Clinton during their 2000 debate, has a tip for her new rival: Learn from my mistake.

Lazio — the Republican who began slipping in New York’s 2000 U.S. Senate race after he brazenly approached Clinton mid-debate in a bid to force her to sign a campaign finance pledge — urged Donald Trump not to move on Monday night’s presidential debate stage.

“My advice? Stay at the podium!” the former U.S. congressman from Long Island told the Daily News in an email Friday.

Lazio and Clinton were neck-and-neck in the polls when they met for their first debate on Sept. 13, 2000.

The two were discussing soft money — unregulated political funding — when Lazio abruptly pulled a piece of paper from his jacket and declared it was a pledge to reject all soft-money donations. Lazio left his podium, walked over to Clinton’s, and demanded her signature.

“I’m asking you to sign it,” he said. “Sign it right now.”

Clinton offered to shake Lazio’s hand as he continued to hound her for a signature. After the debate, Clinton’s campaign claimed the dramatic move was sexist bullying — and pundits soon called Lazio out for being too aggressive and unprofessional.

Lazio encouraged Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to stay behind the podium during Monday’s debate.

That November, Clinton won the race with a healthy 55%.

Sixteen years after the debate stage dance, Lazio encouraged Clinton’s presidential opponent to keep his message positive and stay subtle.

“Don’t go for the knockout punch,” he told The News. “Rather, amplify the negatives she already has … distinguish yourself as the change agent and Hillary as more of the failed and uninspiring status quo.”

But don’t mistake Lazio’s debate tips as a Trump endorsement.

“Neither major party candidate has earned my support,” he said.

The first of three presidential debates between Trump and Clinton is set for 9 p.m. Monday.

Donald Trump is accompanied by his pregnant daughter Ivanka as he addresses supporters in Manchester, N.H. on Feb. 8, 2016.

Will they call the baby Ted?

Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner welcomed a new baby boy Sunday, giving the presidential front-runner a rare warm, cuddly moment on the rough-and-tumble campaign trail.

The baby is the third for Ivanka, a 34-year-old fashion designer and her husband, a real estate developer.

“Jared and I feel incredibly blessed to announce the arrival of Theodore James Kushner,” the businesswoman announced on Twitter. “Xx Ivanka.”

DONALD TRUMP VOWS TO END VIOLENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Their baby boy arrived at 5:43 p.m. Hours earlier, Ivanka and her husband were spotted enjoying brunch in the Big Apple.

Trump, locked in a bitter political feud with rival Ted Cruz, had mentioned his grandson’s pending birth several times on the campaign trail.

Last week, during a speech before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Trump brought up the baby to express his support for Israel.

“I love Israel,” Trump told the Washington D.C. crowd. “I’ve been with Israel so long in terms of — I’ve received some of my greatest honors from Israel, My father before me, incredible. My daughter, Ivanka, is about to have a beautiful Jewish baby.”

TED CRUZ: DONALD TRUMP ‘ATTACKS MY WIFE’ BECAUSE HE’S ‘SCARED’

Trump added that it could be “happening right now.”

Trump, who spent parts of the day tweeting about opponent Ted Cruz, a terrorist attack in Pakistan and NATO, did not immediately tweet about his new grandson.

Tim and Christina McCabe embrace on the front stoop of their Queens home, excited about the freedom Tim’s new kidney offers their family.

Tim McCabe had three kidneys in his body and none of them worked.

The father of two from Queens had been searching for a kidney donor since 2012 and was starting to lose hope as his health deteriorated.

“I was existing, not living,” said McCabe, 45, who struggled with various autoimmune diseases since he was a teen. “It was hard.”

The call he was waiting for came in February. There was a kidney available, and tests showed he was a match.

One month after his surgery, McCabe is excited to have some of his energy back and be free of his home dialysis machine.

QUEENS MAN IN NEED OF A KIDNEY IS HOPING FOR A HOLIDAY MIRACLE

He is hoping his story — told during National Kidney Awareness Month — will spark others to sign up for organ donations.

“I just want people to know they can help save somebody’s life,” said McCabe, a former highway inspector with the city Department of Transportation. “So many people out there need a transplant.”

McCabe’s health issues started when he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis as a teenager.

His first kidney transplant came in 2004 when his wife, Christina, gave him the lifesaving gift.

And for almost 10 years he was able to work and help take care of their two sons, Timmy, 15, and Ryan, 6. But the kidney started to fail, and the McCabe family began the agonizing wait for a donor.

The Daily News first wrote about McCabe’s search for a donor in November 2014.

The couple and their sons, 15-year-old Timmy and 6-year-old Ryan, will be taking an adventurous vacation to Key West, Fla., this summer.

“This time around it felt different,” said Christina McCabe, 44, recalling a sense of helplessness as her husband’s health declined.

Their hopes faded as two potential donated kidneys turned out not to be viable.

“He was so sick and I really didn’t think he was going to make it,” Christina McCabe said. “When that call came (for the kidney match), it really was like a miracle.”

The family is determined to spread the word about the importance of organ donation and to encourage families to have the discussions early.

“It’s not fair to a family to be grieving and have to decide about whether to donate organs,” Christina McCabe said.

The McCabes also started a team to participate in the Long Island Kidney Walk in May.

Tim has a way to go with his recovery, but the family is excitedly making vacation plans for the first time in years.

He and Timmy are planning a trip to see a Notre Dame football game, and the whole family will travel to Key West, Fla., for a niece’s wedding this summer.

“And we are renting Jet Skis!” McCabe added.

No happy ending here!

“Trumbo” star Diane Lane auditioned for the role of Vivian Ward — which eventually went to Julia Roberts — in Garry Marshall’s 1990 “Pretty Woman,” she told James Cordon on “The Late Late Show.”

But she wasn’t the only one.

Diane Lane told James Cordon on “The Late Late Show” that she auditioned for “Pretty Woman,” along with half of Hollywood.

“It seemed to me that every girl in Hollywood was crawling around in her underwear at that point in time — our best lingerie, let’s be clear — to get this film,” she said.

“Because at that time, it was a story about this psychotic call girl who had a delusion of grandeur.”

Lane also spoiled the movie’s original ending.

“It was called ‘3,000’ — her fee for the weekend,” Lane said.

“Pretty Woman” was supposed to end with Vivian Ward being kicked out of a rolling limo.

“And at the end of the film, she gets kicked out of a rolling limousine and into the street.”

In the final cut, Edward (Richard Gere) shows up outside Vivian’s apartment in a white limo with a bouquet of roses.

Lane also recreated the “King of the World” scene from “Titanic” with fellow guest Paul Rudd, who said he auditioned for Leonardo DiCaprio’s lead role in the movie.

“I think the guy that got it was pretty good,” Rudd said.

You can now add weatherman to Flavor Flav’s extensive résumé.

The rapper-turned-reality star stopped by Salt Lake City’s Fox 13 morning broadcast to inform citizens about the upcoming weather in the Utah capital on Saturday.

And true to form, the notorious Public Enemy hype man began his surprise appearance with a spirited rap.

FLAVOR FLAV PLEADS NO CONTEST TO DUI CHARGE IN LAS VEGAS

“I’m here to bring you the weather,” he rapped. “Not only for the good, but for the better. You know what I’m saying? I ain’t playing.”

Flavor Flav delivered the weather report on Salt Lake City, Utah’s Fox 13.fox13now.com

Flavor Flav delivered the weather report on Salt Lake City, Utah’s Fox 13.

He then dove right into the forecast, pointing to the weather map to show it was a comfortable 56 degrees in Salt Lake City before he started delving into the surrounding cities.

“The weather — it’s gonna be kind of good today, you know what I’m saying?” he said.

The 56-year-old rapper, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., then shared the highs for the day in Salt Lake City and its neighboring cities before confessing he wasn’t particularly qualified to deliver the forecast to the public.

“I’m not really a weather person, I’m a rapper,” he explained. “But thank you Fox for letting me come on this morning.”

He wrapped up his cameo with a shout out to his brother, who is an athletic director at the nearby West High School.

Known for always wearing an enormous clock necklace, Flavor Flav became one of the most famous hype men in the rap genre in the 1980s and ’90s.

He also earned an enormous following as the star of a number of VH1 reality shows, including “Flavor of Love” and “The Surreal Life.”

SAN FRANCISCO — If you are, for whatever reasons, seeking a large number of young white men in plaid shirts who are partial to standing desks and seminars on “growth hacking” and “journey mapping,” look no further than San Francisco’s RocketSpace.

When Chrisfino Kenyatta Leal first turned up for his job at the co-working space in 2013, he often seemed to be the only black person around. But one thing made him feel instantly at home: the energy — a frenetic, wild, let’s-do-this energy. He knew this energy, but from where?

Oh, yes, the prison yard.

Mr. Leal is the rarest of migrants, having leapt from one of America’s bleakest, least-admired ecosystems to one of its brightest and most-admired ones. Like many travelers, he has gone far enough to feel, at times, back home — although the bravado and failure, rule-breaking and renegade attitudes surrounding him in his new life in Silicon Valley are evidently considered virtues here.

Mr. Leal, who is 47, doesn’t remember his father’s voice. He was 6 months old when his parents divorced and his father left. Before he knew it, Mr. Leal said, “I went from this little kid that wanted his father to an out-of-control adult that ran around with a gun.”

Growing up in San Diego, he quit school and began to deal drugs. An armed robbery of a restaurant in 1991 sent him to prison for three years.

He got out, all of 25, and melted into the “same crowd, same attitude, same mentality.” Five months later, he was arrested for possessing a gun as an ex-felon. Having pleaded guilty to two lesser counts instead of one heftier one for the 1991 crime, he had now committed, under California’s brand-new “three strikes” law, his third strike. He was sentenced to prison for life.

For the first five or six years inside, Mr. Leal said, he blamed everyone but himself. But relatives and friends who visited told him to take responsibility.

He wrote letters; he read; his mind grew. By the time he arrived at San Quentin State Prison in 2006, he was ready to take advantage of its multitude of programs and courses. He enrolled in college classes and graduated with an associate degree.

When some entrepreneurs came around the prison to explore creating a program to teach inmates business skills, Mr. Leal was drawn in: “A great opportunity for me to transform my hustle.”

In May 2012, the Last Mile — as the program, created by the husband-wife duo of Chris Redlitz and Beverly Parenti, was called — kicked off publicly with a “demo day,” to which scores of Bay Area business leaders came.

One of those in attendance was Duncan Logan, the founder of RocketSpace, which provides offices and a supportive ecosystem for start-ups. He met Mr. Leal and liked him. He offered him a job, a bittersweet accomplishment for a man serving a life sentence.

And then, six months later, California voters adopted Proposition 36, gutting much of the three-strikes law.

A judge reviewed Mr. Leal’s case and prison files. The appropriate sentence was now calculated to be seven years. Mr. Leal had served 19. He was set free.

Mr. Leal had missed the Internet revolution while in prison, but the Last Mile had emphasized “learning how to leverage social media to rebuild our personal brands,” as Mr. Leal put it.

For ex-convicts, the first search result of their name would usually involve their criminal case. That had to change. So the program started the inmates posting on Twitter from prison: They would scribble messages on pieces of paper with 140 boxes, and the program would type and post them.

Mr. Leal was somewhat prepared for the new world he entered after accepting Mr. Logan’s job offer. He has risen quickly since that initial internship, becoming RocketSpace’s manager of campus services.

“I think that there’s a parallel between the entrepreneur and the prisoner,” he said. “A lot of these guys, they’ve failed before. They know what it feels like to fail. And so do I. They failed, and they got up, and they’re trying again. And so have I.”

An undefeated Massachusetts high school wrestler’s lost one of the most-viewed matches of his career, but he won in a more important way.

Devon Schuko, a Norton High School wrestler with a 27-0 record, was matched up against Andy Howland, a Dighton-Rehoboth High School student with Down syndrome.

Schuko heard that the 21-year-old wrestler with special needs wanted a match, and the team co-captain volunteered for the challenge, WCVB reported.

High school wrestling champ Deven Schuko was undefeated until he let Andy Howland, a student with down syndrome, beat him in a touching moment.

“I asked the coach, and he said he thought that would be a great idea,” Schuko told the Sun Chronicle. “We just wanted to make his day.”

He traded his perfect record for a perfect moment, taking one for the team and giving Howland the win, the video showed.

Andy Howland (pictured), a student with down syndrome, has been wrestling for about six years, and won one of the biggest matches of his career.

This was one of many huge victories for Howland, who has been wrestling for about six years, his mother Debbie wrote on Facebook.

“It’s nice to see good sportsmanship is not dead,” she said.

Schuko, who has won over 100 matches in his wrestling career, said he was glad to take this loss for Howland.

“If I had to lose to someone, I’d like to lose to Andy,” he said. “It was a win-win in my book.”

Arbitrator Howard Edelman was paid $ 2,500 a day to oversee a hearing between the NYPD and city. He ended up pocketing $ 115,000 and suggesting cops receive a 1% raise.

Arbitrator Howard Edelman was paid $ 2,500 a day to oversee a hearing between the NYPD and city. He ended up pocketing $ 115,000 and suggesting cops receive a 1% raise.

No wonder he’s a one percenter.

The arbitrator who raised the ire of city cops by suggesting a measly 1% raise for New York’s Finest took home a mammoth $ 115,000 paycheck for hashing out the deal.

Arbitrator Howard Edelman earned the sweetheart sum for the 46 days he spent on a 100-page decision that gave city cops two 1% raises over two years, records obtained via a Freedom of Information Law request show.

1% RAISE IS OFFICIAL FOR COPS IN PATROLMEN’S BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION

“Are you f—ing kidding me?” a flabbergasted officer said when told of the exorbitant amount the independent referee earned. “Oh, my God. What a f—ing joke! It’s a joke. It’s all cahoots, man.”

Edelman earned $ 2,500 a day, and even charged the city for a full day’s work in June when a hearing was canceled.

The tab was split between the city’s Office of Labor Relations and the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

The union slammed Edelman’s decision, arguing that the arbitrator sold out cops in the high-profile case so he could get more mediation business from the city.

“Howard Edelman clearly did not legitimately earn his pay in this arbitration,” PBA President Patrick Lynch said in a statement. “While sitting in judgment of the police officers’ contract, he accepted future work from the city, a clear conflict of interest, and failed to inform the PBA.”

But Lynch and his members were the ones who voted to go to arbitration after negotiations with City Hall broke down in 2014.

PBA PRESIDENT PAT LYNCH RALLIES HUNDREDS OF NYPD OFFICERS OUTSIDE GRACIE MANSION TO PROTEST 1% PAY RAISE

Edelman’s binding resolution, which was approved by a state Public Employment Relations Board panel, led to protests in November outside the arbitrator’s Upper East Side penthouse where about 1,000 union members rallied holding signs reading, “We don’t flip burgers, we chase burglars.”

Protesters said Edelman was treating police officers worse than city fast-food workers, who expect to see their salaries increase to $ 15 an hour by 2018.

PBA honcho Patrick Lynch leads a protest in November after Howard Edelman suggested a 1% raise for cops.

Lynch, at the time, called Edelman’s recommendation a slap in the face.

“All we are asking for is to be treated and paid like the professionals we are,” he said.

The union, which also protested outside Gracie Mansion, labeled the veteran arbitrator “the poster boy for the wealthy one-percenters.”

Edelman’s 1% solution was in step with what other city police unions, including the Sergeants Benevolent Association and the Captains Endowment Association, received in their negotiations with the city, officials said. The raise only affected the years between 2010 and 2012.

The PBA and the city will have to go back to the bargaining table to discuss back-pay raises for 2012 through 2015 as well as future raises.

Police union members express their displeasure for Edelman’s contract ruling.

“It was not the City’s choice to go to arbitration and the arbitrator’s decision ended up following the pattern accepted by all other uniformed unions,” said Mayor de Blasio’s spokeswoman Amy Spitalnick. “Our door has always been — and continues to be — open to the PBA to negotiate a long-term contract, as we’ve done with nearly the entire City workforce to date.”

Edelman could not immediately be reached for comment.

The arbiter’s per diem rate of $ 2,500 was public information prior to the deal, and PBA officials signed off on him as judge. Officials close to the proceedings said the rate was common.

“It’s not out of this world, and not out of line with prior bills,” a source with knowledge of the situation said.

Union members even used a coffin to express their frustration for Edelman’s contract decision.

But anger was still strong among rank-and-file cops.

“Pay me $ 10,000,” one cop told The News. “I could come up with that.”

Others said the PBA shouldered at least some of the blame for the meager backpay increase.

“That’s a lot of money, and it’s extremely unfair,” another officer said. “The union took a big gamble and lost, and I am still really upset about it.”

“I looked at my check a couple of days ago, and there was, like, 37 more dollars in it. That’s about 60 extra bucks a month,” the cop, who declined to give her name, said. “How am I going to feed my kids on that?”

NOT-SO-FABOLOUS “ROLLY” MODEL

$ 34,000 says this kid’s going to be Fabolous-ly screwed up.

Confidenti@l is told rapper Fabolous gave his seven-year-old son Johan two gold Rolex watches for Christmas, one worth $ 12,500 and one worth a stunning $ 21,500.

The kid better build up some arm muscles quick. The little one will be wearing hefty new 18-karat yellow gold Presidential Rolex and two-tone steel-and-yellow-gold Datejust timepieces.

The insider says Fabolous had to get the women’s version of the watches from Rafello and Co. because the men’s would be too big for his son’s pre-teen wrists.

The rapper posted a picture of the tyke with the caption, “These kids wear crowns over here” (a reference to the Rolex logo) with the hashtag “#TrueKingsRaiseNewKings.”

Our source says the “Can’t Deny It” star also bought a matching pair of the watches from the jeweler for himself, dropping whopping $ 53,000 on the time pieces.

The good news for Fab is that he got a great deal on the bling because his label, Jay Z’s Roc Nation, does a lot of business with the jeweler.

We’re told Gabe Jacobs of Rafello and Co. gave him the goods for “way less than a regular walk-in because that’s what you do for family.”

TERESA’S HUBBY GETS FESTIVE AT STRIPCLUB

Just 12 days before his wife Teresa Giudice was released from prison on Dec. 23, her husband Joe, visited a strip club in New York, reports In Touch magazine. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” hubby allegedly attended an X-rated Christmas party at Blue Moon Cabaret in New Paltz, N.Y., while Teresa was sitting behind bars for fraud. “This place is as sleazy as a strip club can get,” a source told the weekly, adding that Joe loves strip clubs because “he can find discreet hookups there.” Teresa meanwhile is back to playing nice housewife. She was spotted grocery shopping for the family, buying mushrooms, strawberries and flowers, and greeting fellow shoppers along the aisles.

RUSSELL CROWS ABOUT BAD SERVICE

Russell Crowe slammed Virgin Airlines on Twitter after they refused to let his sons take hoverboards on a flight. The actor was unaware that the lithium ion batteries in the boards are not allowed on the aircraft for safety reasons, and went berzerk, tweeting: “Ridiculous. No Segway boards as luggage? Too late to tell us at airport. Kids and I offloaded. Goodbye Virgin. Never again.” He also wrote, “Why did you not inform me when I booked my ticket?” Crowe was flying from Sydney to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales with sons Tennyson and Charles but abruptly left the airport.
