Two brothers named Khalid and Ibrahim Bakraoui have been identified as the two suicide bombers (left and center) who detonated themselves at Brussels Airport.

The two suicide bombers who blew themselves up at the Brussels Airport have been identified as a pair of brothers already known to police, according to a report.

Belgian news agency RTBF said that Khalid and Ibrahim Bakraoui, 27 and 30, were among the three men seen in the departure area shortly before the explosion that killed at least 14 and injured dozens of others.

The pair were known to police because of organized crime, and the newspaper La Libre reported that he was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2010 for shooting at police with a Kalashnikov during a robbery.

The attacks at the airport (pictured) and a subway station in central Brussels killed at least 30 people and wounded dozens of others.

His brother Khalid was sentenced to five years of probation for carjackings in 2011.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
