Thou shalt not steal — even words from the dictionary.
Russell Wilson, a devout Christian, should know that, but tried to get one over on the Internet anyway.
On Wednesday, the Seahawks quarterback took to social media to profess his adoration for his #WCW, Ciara.
In the romantic post about his girlfriend, Wilson wrote “I kissed her & she had honey sweet lips that were lilac soft w/ a loving & affectionate personality.”
But Wilson isn’t as much of a Casanova as those words put on, because they aren’t his, as one Twitter user pointed out. He simply googled “How To Descibe A Beautiful Woman.”
The quarterback is most likely a repeat offender, as SB Nation reported.
In a different post on Wednesday, he professed his love of Ciara’s “midnight black” hair and how it “plunged over her shoulders” in a particular photo.
Those sweet words appear to be lifted from the same Word Press blog as Wilson’s post about her “honey sweet lips.”
To be fair, Wilson has had a lot of free time on his hands after his Seattle Seahawks bowed out of the playoffs earlier than ususal two weeks ago.
