Kardashian, 31, rushed to be with Odom last week after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.
Khloé Kardashian reportedly has cancelled her book tour to remain by Lamar Odom’s side.
The reality TV star will continue her bedside vigil at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles rather than promote the Nov. 3 release of “Strong Looks Better Naked,” Entertainment Tonight reported Friday.
“Khloé hates to cancel or reschedule anything when it comes to work, but right now, her number one priority is getting Lamar back to good health,” a source told ET.
“She won’t leave his side and knows that is the most important place she needs to be right now,” the source said.
Kardashian, 31, rushed to be with Odom last week after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel with blood and a white substance coming out of his nose and mouth, sources said.
She arrived just hours after the 911 call and was joined by her mom and Kim Kardashian West, one source said.
“She will not leave,” the source told the Daily News last week.
The tour cancellation surfaced after E! News reported that Odom, 35, battled aspiration pneumonia and underwent at least one of two emergency surgeries on Thursday.
The two surgeries were related to chest issues, TMZ.com reported.
Concerned about infection risk, medical staff also restricted Odom’s visitation to Kardashian alone, the celebrity website said.
The reality TV star will continue her bedside vigil at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
It’s not yet known what was in Odom’s system when two hookers found the former NBA player unresponsive inside the Love Ranch on Oct. 13. But authorities suspect cocaine and got a search warrant to test his blood after telling a judge the prostitutes heard him making “snorting” noises inside his brothel bathroom, court paperwork obtained Thursday by The News confirmed.
If the toxicology testing comes back dirty, Odom could face criminal charges.
Brothel staffers told investigators they believed Odom did cocaine the Saturday before his Tuesday collapse and combined alcohol and herbal Viagra during his bender, Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly previously said.
“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” Kardashian said in a Tuesday statement on her website.
“You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure,” she said.
On Wednesday, Kardashian and Odom filed paperwork asking a Los Angeles judge to dismiss their signed but still pending divorce.
The judge granted the request.
“In sincerely loving Lamar, we truly love and respect whomever he loves,” a Thursday statement from Odom’s family said.
“We always have and will continue to do so. Together as a team, we will support and encourage him always,” the statement obtained by The News said.
