Stefani is taking a “spiritual” approach to her divorce.
It’s mind over matter for Gwen Stefani when it comes to getting over her divorce.
The “No Doubt” songstress, who recently split from her longtime husband Gavin Rossdale, isn’t concerned with her physical appearance, instead preferring to practice “spiritual exercising.”
The “Voice” coach revealed her Zen-like approach to E! News at the UCLA Neurosurgery Visionary Ball held Thursday in Los Angeles.
“[I’M] really trying to connect and be grateful, considerate, being present and living in the moment, and so that’s where I’ve put a lot of my exercise right now,” she said. , “So, if that’s what you’re seeing, that’s awesome, because I’ve been working really hard on that.”
Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the couple settled the terms of their divorce. They will share custody of their children Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 19 months.
The pair, who split in August, doesn’t have a prenup, which leaves Rossdale, 49, with less than half of their shared property. Stefani, 46, recently released a break-up ballad “Used to Love You.” In the emotional video, she holds back tears while she stares into the camera, wiping her eyes several times.
“I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you,” sings Stefani. “There were no boundaries, but you just pushed me too far. I guess nobody taught you, nobody taught you how to love.” A source told TMZ that Stefani broke up with her husband of 13 years because she thought he was cheating on her.
The pair cited irreconcilable differences in their divorce documents.
