“Money Talks” star Charlie Sheen says his porn-star ex-fiancée is an “extortionist” who insisted on having unprotected sex with him in 2014 even though she knew he was HIV-positive — and faces the same risk of disease every day at her job.
Responding in court to Brett Rossi’s lawsuit alleging that Sheen had physically abused her, forced her to have an abortion and failed to disclose his HIV status, the “Two and a Half Men” actor sought to undermine Rossi’s credibility by bringing up her past as a sex worker.
For starters, Sheen’s lawyers vehemently deny the adult film actress’ allegation that Sheen had intentionally exposed her to HIV in the court papers, which were filed Monday and obtained by the LA Times.
“She was the one who insisted on having unprotected sex with Sheen ‘like a normal couple,'” after she learned of his diagnosis, the papers say. “As a porn star, Rossi has had hundreds, if not thousands, of sexual partners. Exposure to sexually transmitted disease is a risk that she knowingly and willingly accepts every time she has sex on film, and she made the same choice when it came to Sheen.”
Sheen’s papers further argue that the 50-year-old “Anger Management” star “never kicked, choked, dragged, shook, or struck Rossi, and he never threatened to kill her or forced her to have an abortion, as she wildly alleges.” Rather, a belligerent Rossi assaulted the actor in jealousy and alcohol-fueled rages at least three times, the papers claim.
Sheen and Rossi share a kiss during the San Fermin Running of the Bulls Festival on July 12, 2014 in Pamplona, Spain.
Rossi “signed a confidentiality agreement” after he revealed his HIV status to her, the papers also say.
“This is a case by an extortionist … who gets paid for sex as a prostitute and a porn star,” the lawyers write. “Rossi is banking on the fact that Sheen will pay her millions of dollars to avoid the negative publicity surrounding this action.”
Rossi said previously that she is “terrified of Charlie,” and needed therapy for months.
Rossi, 26, who was engaged to Sheen for eight months in 2014, filed a lawsuit last week seeking unspecified damages from the actor for assault, battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress after his bombshell HIV announcement, one day after he failed to pay her more than $ 1 million they had reportedly agreed upon prior to his November “Today” show interview.
Sheen’s camp alleged in its Monday response that Rossi “was threatening to disclose Sheen’s medical condition unless she got paid millions of dollars,” and had since agreed to settle her disputes with Sheen through arbitration.
Rossi, whose real name is Scottine Ross, defended herself against the “extortion” claim in a Tuesday interview with TMZ.
“I can’t extort him,” she said calmly. “I’m out here telling everyone my side of the story.”
She also reiterated that Sheen had had unprotected sex with her without disclosing his HIV status.
“It was both parties that agreed to have unprotected sex,” she said. “But he didn’t tell me prior to him having HIV.”
“I just would like to know — Charlie, if I’m such a horrible person, why did you want to marry me?”
