Canberra Times sport podcast, September 1: Who's the best Canberra Raiders player? And have the Wallabies hit rock bottom?

Who’s the most influential player at the Canberra Raiders?

That’s the question we try to answer this week as the Raiders aim for a home final in the last round of the NRL’s regular season.

It's hard to argue with Raiders captain Jarrod Croker's form in 2016. But has he been their best player?

A top-two spot is possibly up for grabs, and we dissect the final round and how it could play out for the Green Machine.

Should coach Ricky Stuart rest players on the last game against the Wests Tigers or is momentum king in the last match?

There’s also another rule being trialled in the final round of the NRL, but is it making things clearer?

The Wallabies were poor again. We bring in our new sports reporter James Hall to discuss where things are going well and where they aren’t (it doesn’t take long to list the positives…)

But the news was more positive for the Canberra Vikings, who had a comfortable win in round one of the NRC.

We also talk Nick Kyrgios, Olympics, Paralympics and soccer.

Join Chris Dutton, Kyle Mackey-Laws and James Hall as they discuss all the big issues facing Canberra sport this week.
