While the world worships Bill Murray, the man himself bows down to wild child Miley Cyrus.

The former Ghostbuster raved about the Grammy-nominated pop singer — one of the myriad stars who appear in his upcoming Netflix holiday special, “A Very Murray Christmas” — and admitted he’d been surprised by her considerable talent.

“Miley Cyrus really just blew everyone away,” Murray told the Daily News’ [email protected] column Wednesday as his special premiered at New York’s Paris Theater. “I had no idea that she was that good, that talented.”

“She can ask me anything anytime,” added Murray of the 23-year-old starlet, who serenades him with a cheery cover of “Sleigh Ride” during the hour-long special. “She really delivered the goods.”

His praise for the pop princess echoes that of co-star George Clooney, who called Cyrus “fantastic and fun and a real pro” in an Access Hollywood interview earlier this year.

Murray also hailed his fellow “SNL” alum Maya Rudolph for a job well done.

“People were texting, ‘You’ve got to come down here and see this,’ because we’re all working down inside of the hotel saying, ‘Wait, wait, I’m slowing everything down so you can come see this,'” he told The News of the “Bridesmaids” star’s performance.

“What Maya Rudolph did was amazing, really amazing.”

The Sofia Coppola-directed Christmas show, debuting Friday, is billed as “an homage to the classic variety show” and also stars Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera and “Late Show with David Letterman” bandleader Paul Shaffer.

Murray, playing himself, must make the best of things when a blizzard halts production of a live holiday show at New York’s Carlyle Hotel. Luckily, he has his famous friends, hotel employees and other drop-ins to join in the impromptu party.

“I think we just wanted to see if we could have fun in … kind of a boozy way, a relaxed way, the way Christmas holidays get when people really start to sing Christmas carols,” he said. “They get relaxed and let the feeling get into it.”
