Famed weatherman Al Roker rained down rage on Twitter Saturday night about an alleged snub by a taxi driver — an action the “Today” star said was racially motivated.

“Filed a complaint today after getting passed up again by a NYC Yellow cab. Cabbie picked up a white guy a block away. Wonder why Uber wins?” Roker, who is black, wrote around 8:30 p.m.

“This happens to folks of color every day. And while most cabbies do their job, there are those ignorant, racist ones who hurt the others…What really hurts, my 13 yr. old boy was with me and asked why the cabbie passed us. I said, ‘Nick, ignorant people make dumb choices.’”

Roker told his 421,000 followers he would keep them “posted” on the complaint.

It’s unknown where and when the weatherman was allegedly shunned. Reps for Roker and the Taxi and Limousine Commission did not return requests for comment.

The TLC website notes that it is illegal for yellow cab drivers to refuse a passenger “because of race, disability or destination within New York City.” Some complaints can lead to hearings between the customer and city officials.

Roker, 61, has been forecasting for NBC’s “Today” for nearly 20 years. His morning show on The Weather Channel, “Wake Up With Al,” was canceled last month after six years.
