Virginia coach Tony Bennett collapsed to the court during the NCAA Tournament and was taken to the locker room before returning in the second half.

The team’s official Twitter account said Bennett fainted due to dehydration. The coach explained that he “blacked out” after crouching down and standing up quickly, but he’ll “be okay.”

In their first-round matchup against No. 16 seed Hampton, the top-seeded Cavaliers were cruising along at the end of the first half, when Bennett appeared to bend over and then went to the ground.

Bennett, who is in his seventh season as head coach, exited the floor with 5.3 seconds to go until the break. Virginia went to the locker room up 40-21 against the Pirates.
