Call it new material for her country songs.

Reba McEntire has officially divorced her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, the singer announced on her Facebook page.

“Narvel and I are divorced,” she wrote. “”It was final October 28.”

The popular entertainer and her longtime husband, who also serves as her manager, announced they were separating in August with a joint statement from a rep, adding that they will continue to support each other moving forward.

“They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so,” the statement read. “They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.”

The duo, which has one son together, had actually separated months before making the announcement, and they never confirmed whether they planned to divorce or not.

But McEntire answered that question on Facebook, where she also went on to thank her many fans for their support.

“Thanks for all of those sweet messages,” she wrote. “Narvel and I are friends. We have always been.”

The 60-year-old McEntire became extremely popular in the 1980s behind her seminal hits such as “How Blue” and “Somebody Should Leave.” She has sold more than 85 million records in her career.

She also enjoyed a successful career as an actress, starring on her own popular sitcom, “Reba,” from 2001 to 2007.

Blackstock, meanwhile, represents other musical giants such as Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson with his management company.
