Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore are teaming up onscreen for the first time in two decades.
Nearly twenty years after they played adversaries in 1996’s “The Juror,” the actors will play lovers in the indie flick “Blind,” Deadline reports.
Baldwin will portray a novelist blinded in a car crash that killed his wife. The character rediscovers his love of writing when he falls for a woman played by Moore.
The pair’s romance is complicated by the fact that Moore is married to a businessman (Dylan McDermott) whose legal troubles strained their marriage.
Michael Mailer, the son of novelist Norman Mailer, will make his directing debut with “Blind.” The film is slated to shoot in New York, and Baldwin will serve as one of the film’s executive producers.
