“WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD,” “Scream Queens” star Abigail Breslin exclaimed in an Instagram post Wednesday.
One comic’s tasteless quip made this “Scream Queens” star holler.
Actress Abigail Breslin took an unnamed stand-up comedian to task for cracking a rape joke Wednesday night, and received an even creepier comment in response.
“Just left a comedy show where the comic was talking about how women think they’re too ‘cute’ to give out their number and how they should trust him cuz he doesn’t have a ‘rapists body’ and he doesn’t ‘use prostitutes because girls already play games for free,'” the “Little Miss Sunshine” star shared in an Instagram post.
Breslin attends the 20th Century Fox party during Comic-Con International 2015 on July 10 in San Diego, Calif.
“When I said to him from the crowd it was offensive he said he ‘didn’t mind because I’m pretty,'” she concluded. “WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD.”
Most of the 19-year-old’s fans applauded her for speaking up, but some challenged her to “get up and leave if it offends you.”
“He is a comic. Why so PC? Jeeeeesh live a little, lady,” wrote one.
A handful also encouraged her to name the comedian so that they might more effectively shame him.
This isn’t Breslin’s first foray into feminism — in April, she penned a self-described “rant” in defense of singer Selena Gomez, whose bikini photo had drawn fat-shaming Internet comments.
“If we taught girls they had more newsworthy qualities than how they fit into a bikini, we’d have a lot more happy girls,” she wrote on her Tumblr blog, Mixtapes & Winter Coats.

“Selena, you look amazing and more importantly look like you’re having fun. Keep rocking those bikinis.”
Breslin, whose campy horror-comedy had its season finale this week, will star as headstrong teen Baby in a three-hour ABC remake of the 1987 classic “Dirty Dancing,” Deadline reported Wednesday.
